I really feel like we could've beat baylor

Baylor feasted on their non-conference fluff or a schedule. Once they faced the meat of the BigXII they were exposed badly. It continues evidently.

Being a realist, I do not think ISU matched up well with Baylor. Their D would have shut us down (as almost everyone did) and there is no way we stop RG3. I have a feeling it would have been a 42-20 game or something like that. I am scared to have them on the schedule next season especially with the QB situation in Ames.

Let's hope a Big 12 team finally shows up when OSU plays tonight. The big 10 has lined up in two games so far and just ran all over big 12 teams. They had to know that was coming but both MU and BU looked like they were playing against offenses they had never seen before.

ISU could have beat that baylor team tonight. They looked slow and lost out there like they didn't even want to be there.

I fear no offense - ISU held Mizoo to 14 points and the defense will continue to get better under Wally.

We held Mizzou to 14? Yippee. We still have to use scientific notation to figure out how many we gave up to Oklahoma and Utah.

Until ISU goes a full season without giving up >45 points I say there will be issues. ISU gave up 38 in a win, 68 and 52 in losses. I agree ISU will continue to improve tremendously under Burnham but there is a LONG way to go to be an average defense in FBS. What I am trying to say ISU is way too inconsistant right now.

My biggest fear is ISU's offense.

RG3 has never impressed me. They always say he has world class speed, but he doesn't look "quick". He must be a slow starter. Maybe at full stride 10-15yds down the field he is fast, but he certainly isn't that elusive or quick in the pocket. His passing is about as predictable as AA was as well.

Baylor should never be feared.

That my friend is how bowl games go. These games need to be closer to the regular season.
Then you are getting into end of semester/finals. I'm sure Flander could tell us what he thinks as he would have a valuable opinion of someone who was in that position.
