Musk is one of those visionaries that we need to have technology continue to advance by leaps and bounds. However, there are some issues with hyperloop that will be tough to overcome. I'm a firm believer that projects like this should always get opened up to entrepreneurs in some type of competitive format. Private sector visionaries will always do it better and cheaper than government.
