How long do we think we can keep guys like Mitchell and Brock with the likes of Purdy and Hall ahead of them?

Jirehl Brock will redshirt this year, work his tail off, and will be a stud for the next 4 years. When we get next year's quarterback class in Ames, you may see Re-Al get moved to WR.. I would be surprised if either of them transfer.

We got a sixth year for Kyle, so I think we can get up to 8 years out of Brock. Our luck has definitely turned.

I think Re-al could start at QB for lots of schools. I'm hoping he sees the enormous opportunities in Ames and his ability to develop under this coaching staff.

Re-al is getting some reps and is the solid #2, next year there really isn't anyone behind him besides freshmen QBs. I don't see him going anywhere.
Brock said he was good with red-shirting when he was being recruited and talked about him and Hall being a duo. Not concerned.

I think Mitchell will be gone after this year unless he switches positions. QBs don't wait around anymore.

Depends on how we use them.
Plenty of programs utilize multiple talented running backs.
Mitchell is harder if it’s true he wants to be a starting QB. I hope we can find ways to get him on the field.

Sounds like something Randy would say...but seriously, I don’t know l, but I’d expect we keep them both 5 years. I’d think Brock would get plenty of run if he’s as advertised. Re-Al is getting some PT as a freshman.
