I saw somwhere on here a post about that missed field goal eventually causing ISU to not be in a power 5 conference. Due to Big12's inability to consistently get teams into the playoffs the conference splits and ISU left in the wake.
Wouldn't that be a ultimate self inflicted kick to the stones???

On the topic of missed FGs, I was pleasantly surprised to see OU miss one last night, just because we almost never see opposing offenses miss opportunities against us.
