Decent bowl in a decent city. Had we not played Tulsa already and playing them again next year, it would make the bowl game a lot better. It's not too bad of a situation though.

I'm pumped. It's on a great day (NY Eve), on ESPN, in a tradition-rich bowl, and we'll be favored. Would I like a BCS opponent? Yes, but this is best case scenario of the three the Cyclones were rumored to be involved. Don't ***** Cyclone fans, enjoy.

Happy with bowl. Tulsa is disappointing.

Easy cheap trip. I think I'll plan on going, but if weather looks bad for drive, will skip. Not out much money. Think a trip of leaving on 29th and returning on 1st is probably the best.

It's a bowl. Outside of a handful, theres always something to complain about. If it isnt cost, its who we play, or the payout, or what channel its on... etc..

Im just excited for another day of ISU Football.

I'll go as my duty as an ISU fan. Even watching ISU play in a game where a win means so little, is fun. NIU going to the Orange Bowl has me a bit too sour on CFB though.

The general answer. Happy with the bowl, the only issue is that we already played Tulsa--but that doesn't mean I'm "unhappy" about it.

I'm happy that we made a bowl game, but playing Tulsa again kinda bums me out. The BCS rules are stupid putting Northern Illinois in over OKLAHOMA!! The same Northern Illinois team that lost to 4-8 Iowa and should have lost to 1-11 Kansas. Hopefully Florida State stomps Northern Illinois.

Love the bowl, hate having to play Tulsa again this season and what will end up being 3 times in 13 months...

It's a good bowl, once you get accept the bid, it really doesn't matter who you play. We go, win, roll into the off season with some momentum.

looks like the bandies did know that shreveport wasn't an option.

Well done, bandies...you are on your way.
