I'd assume that's when BYU is going to aim to join as well but nothing on them officially yet

All sports will begin Big 12 schedules in the 2023-24 athletic season, except for men’s volleyball, which will continue to compete in the MPSF."
If out is still here make sure that neither gets to play Kansas in football anymore no passes for them
Part of me wants the conference to schedule OUT to play against the new teams, if nothing more than the arrogance of OUT thinking these teams are below them and aren't exciting enough. Maybe that will be their four away games for the season. Rest of the conference can handle the OUT home games.

Give them each two roadies per season at the new schools, so they play all 4 before leaving.
I was going on the assumption that they would leave after the first season with the new schools, but your right, it's still possible that OUT will remain until the end of the grant of rights.
Too bad the conference doesn't get to name Kick times. OUT could be the early risers for the season!

And, have all those OU matchups be 11 a.m. CT kickoff.
Except at BYU. That one can be at 7:15 MT/8:15 CT in mid-November.
Maybe we could offer Fox a contract addendum, offer to stage an 8 AM game as long as it was in Norman or Austin every week, increase content inventory, those "mega" brands would cause people rise to watch with a hangover. Win Win scenario!
We save the two last home games in Ames for Texas and Oklahoma.

BYU crushed TX during Mack's last couple years, and BYU hasn't gotten worse.
I know this was unrealistic for a dozen reasons, but I wish the Big 12 could have kicked Texas out of the conference after last season.
No better way for their tenure to end than a home loss against Kansas. Never gonna top that.
Would be a bold play to NOT have Texas and OU play each other that year.
For legal reasons, I suspect the conference won’t do anything (including scheduling) that could be seen as detrimental or damaging to OuT.
