Sean Farnham listed Dustin Hogue on his monthly no love team. Said members on this team deserve more attention. Picked 5 out of 26 on his list.

And he will soon be on the "I Hate that Guy!" team poll taken in the Big 12.

Much to the delight of Cyclone fans.

Well deserved. Kane, Ejim, and Hogue really bring the toughness to the team. Very talented players.

Whoever coaches Indian Hills CC must be scratching their head right now. They had that kind of talent being used in a role he didn't fit in well. It is clear now that Dustin has all sorts of skills.

The times I've watched it looks like a more organized open gym. They have a lot of good players, but most are looking for their own shot.

Has Hogue gotten every jump ball so far? Love that.

And another opportunity to rant about the alternate possession rule. Stupidest rule of all time: "Let's just take turns."

I know he has a completely different style of play, but I think Hogue is the new McGee. The energy and work ethic are unreal.

How do you give the little guy any reward for tying up a big without it?

Think about this. Years and years ago they had a jump ball after every made basket. Talk about the value of a dominant center - that must have been crazy. I'm sure when they changed it some people probably said it was stupid to automatically give the ball to the other team rather than having a jump.

By the way, I think UNI won the initial jump against ISU.

Dustin has been a beat; it's good to finally see him start getting some recognition.

Side note, how is a guy averaging 25 PPG and 5 APG playing in a major conference on this list?

He's only lost one that i know of. The opening tip vs UNI. It was a bad toss though. He won the tip in overtime. Pretty amazing that he's won the tip over two 7'0" guys.

Hogue's getting the "no love" on this thread... only 15 total posts... come on!

Seriously, the guy eats glass... we need him to continue to dominate the boards. Love his hustle and how he plays within the team. His hustle really reminds me of Ejim's sophomore year here with a strong team, and filling up the stat sheet by getting boards, diving to get loose balls, etc... (does the "little things" but nobody really notices him.)

Well, if he keeps this up, he will become most Cyclone Fan's favorite player.

GO CYCLONES!
