I need advice on hiring an app developer. The app would not require processing $ transactions but it would require the creation of a user account and writing/reading to a database. I can design the data model and the queries/stored procedures since i do that for my day job but I have no idea how to build the front end. i would also like to have it built for both ios and android but don't know if that would be feasible or not. Does anyone have an idea of what something like that would cost to hire out? TIA

Honestly it would depend on what you're actually trying to do with the app.

I do some mobile development for work but I have no idea on cost. I use Cordova so I can write one set of code for Android and iOS (and Windows, occasionally). As mentioned above, there are other tools, too. If I had free time outside of work, I would love to do some contract stuff like this, but it's not possible right now. Good luck.
