Does anyone know if any consideration has been given to renaming Hilton Coliseum to Orr Coliseum, or perhaps Hilton\Orr Coliseum? I cannot think of a better way to honor the man who invented Hilton magic. James Hilton was the president in charge that pushed for the construction, but in my opinion Johnny Orr is the man who built it.

This has been talked about before and it still is a great idea. With Freddy here and the Magic back what a great time to do it. We should all be contact Pollard right now to get the ball rolling.

I agree with Johnny on the floor but they better NOT EVER **** with the name of the building. The day that would be changed would be a sad day.

You don't change James H. Hilton Coliseum. You just don't.

I actually see a better chance Fennelly gets his name on the floor than anyone else. Johnny's is a tribute to Johnny.

I love Johhny as much as any fan, but I cannot see renaming Hilton. It is just that HILTON.

As far as naming the floor, that would be an option, but I think instead of that the recognition has already been decided on. He has a statue and bar in Hilton.

I would be willing to guess the AD would say we have already tone the recognition.

Was there during Johnny and one year of Floyd. You don't have Hilton magic with a new name on the building, wouldn't be the same. Johnny has the statue and bar, and anybody who has been around Johnny knows that this is truly the most fitting.

Maybe a tie-in sponsorship with Hilton Hotels. Just TELL them we'll name our venue "Hilton" Coliseum and see how much $$$ they pony up. Maybe get that Paris slut to bring her little doggie to the dedication...

Instead of renaming the court, just change Hoiberg's entry music to "Here's Johnny!".

Tribute to both of them!
