Hi there!

As was mentioned in this thread, I said I would be back with some more information. Right now, the plan for the floor is to sell sections in 1' x 1' squares, and some 1' x 2' squares. Currently, the I-STATE is not a part of this, since we'd like to see it go to a former player / coach / someone who has a major tie to the program, in 1 large section.

Also, I'm planning on giving every former men's and women's player from 2010-2020 a 6" x 6" section.

There may be opportunities to buy some of the non-playing surface (just outside of the red boarder) in the 4' x 8' panels. Contact me if you are interested.

You can follow along via Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/hiltonflooring) or sign up (http://hiltonflooring.com) to be emailed with when the sale will start / pricing details / etc.

Or, you can email me at [email protected].

Cheers!

The 1' x 1' sections will range from $75 to $200, depending on what type of piece it is. A plain non-playing surface piece would be a lot cheaper than a piece of the pioneer logo or the 3 point arc.

Question about the pieces, could I somehow integrate a 1X1 in to the wood floors at my house?

Hmmm. That would be some work. The flooring right now is 3/4" maple onto 1/2" osb, which is then on a 1x4 base frame. I'm working on separating the 1x4 base frame, which seems possible. But then you are left with 3/4" and the 1/2". and the 3/4 isn't true 3/4 since it's been refinished a few times.

A guy could try to drum sand down the osb to make it fit. I like the idea! It might be more work than *I* have in front of me!
