Stronger with the addition of Nebraska.... Hahahahaha

I get why the first one is ridiculous. But what is wrong with the second one?

Basically saying they have the 5th largest bandwagon jumping fan base in the nation. Way to try to spin the fact that fan support was seriously declining for years.

Is it supposed to be packed when the team absolutely sucked and so did the coaching staff? Not sure it's bandwagon...

When ISU is bad at football are they filling Jack Trice? Damn bandwagon fans.

I think that the definition of "bandwagon" fans are ones that show up when the team is good and disappear when the team is bad.

Great you have a ten fold (or whatever it was) increase in attendance not because you increased capacity or anything. No it's because your fan support was so bad it made it easy to do even with modest fan support. Then you tout that fact on your website like it's something to be proud of.

And way to play the ISU card. Last I checked we are setting attendance records with a team that is 3rd to last in our conference. But if we did make that list I would also make fun of us for trying to spin it.

You are making fun of Iowa fans for doing something that Iowa State fans do as well. That really isn't pulling a card, it's saying you are being hypocritical.

And you are setting attendance records with a team that is supposed to be, and is when they play well, pretty good. It was CPR's "best" team (granted, it probably is). Things are looking up for ISU, and attendance is getting better. Could you not say the same for Iowa basketball?

I'm making fun of your marketing department for drawing attention to the fact that your attendance has sucked and is using a stat which pretty much says that exact thing and act like it's some great accomplishment. You might (theoretically) still have the lowest attendance in the B1G this year but yippee you made the top five list of percentage increase of attendance from the previous year. I hope ISU never makes that top ten list unless they bowl in the south end zone and add another deck.

Well I think they are pointing out that Iowa fans are getting mad again.

:D

Please. The guy already has a legitimate point to use against our marketing department, don't make things worse by throwing that Golden Goose out there. Seriously, that's a gift that keeps on giving for people who want to make fun of Iowa

Not only are they setting record ticket sales during CPR's best year, all that they have to do is give away free hillside tickets with their 4 tickets/hotdogs/sodas for $40 deal.

Honest question, how much do hot dogs and sodas cost at Jack Trice? It has to be pretty close to $10 right? People can't attend a high school game for that cost.

Not to mention $11 reserved seating

Student tickets for the game against #2 team in the country, Oklahoma State are being sold for $5! The box office has a $5 special going on to try to persuade students to come to the game.
