Hernandez Arrested

He gone. Taken from home in cuffs.

curious to see if the NFL will act. After Big Ben's suspension, the Commish has shown that he isn't bound by the notion of "innocent until proven guilty." (for good or ill)

I could be wrong, but it looks to me like they are going to be charging him with murder. The obstruction warrant is a decoy to keep him from fleeing. The real charges will come when he is in custody.

I wonder if they found anything in the pond, yesterday. I mean, they had to be searching for a murder weapon, right? That's the only reason you search a body of water like that, isn't it? Maybe I've seen too many episodes of Law and Order.

As far as i know of they were looking for the side mirror cover. This was a pretty botched deal. How dumb can he be to be in this situation? the guy basically just won the lottery

If anything I would imagine it could be easily upgraded to accessory after the fact. I would think knowingly destroying evidence of a murder would fall into that category.

I don't think the NFL will need to do anything, he will be in jail for the next 15-25 years. Unless he rats someone else out and takes a plea.

When's the last time the justice system actually punished an athlete the same way as a normal person for a crime?

I'm not sure on the typical penalties but it seemed like these guys where punished the way a normal person would be. Perhaps I'm wrong though.

Plaxico Burress
Michael Vick
Rae Carruth

I'm actually shocked the Patriots released him. I'd imagine they wouldn't have released him if it was just an obstruction charge. (Ray Lewis says hi)

that didn't take long

That's the Patriot Way. With maybe Tom Brady (and Gronk, but he is on thin ice if he can't get healthy quick) being the exception, Bellichick has always shown little to no patience for players who provide any sort of off-field distractions.

I'd like to know what the professional cleaners tell the cops they cleaned up.
