Here is why we beat Missouri

Biggest thing from the call in show tonight, Rhoads made it very known he EXPECTS a HUGE crowd on Saturday.

Not to be a pessimist here, but I would be very surprised if we have a huge crowd Saturday. Although it is senior day and we have bowl eligibility on the line, we do have some factors against us. One big one is that it's the first Saturday of Thanksgiving break and a lot of students will be going home. Another thing to keep in mind is it is a night game in November, not exactly ideal weather conditions. We haven't exactly had the best attendance for similar games in the past either. It's going to take a big push from Cyclone Nation to fill up the Jack for this game. Hope I'm wrong, but I just don't see it happening.

Our crowd will be about 41-42K. Not the worst crowd at JTS, but pathetic considering what's on the line.

The messed up part is that two years ago, we had a full house at kick off to see a 2-9 Cyclone team play Mizzou. 46K announced, and about that many through the 1st quarter. Much colder day than we're looking at.

Can anyone answer why we had such good attendance under Chizik, but it's dropped off under Rhoads? Has to be the economy.

Cmon... we need some POSITIVE thoughts here! On paper, we probably shouldn't have been within 3 TD's of NU or Texas, but you never know. If there's anything I've learned about CPR coached teams, it's to expect the unexpected! (Unfortunately, last Saturday probably falls into that category.) Hey, if we play a solid game all around I think we've shown that we can hang with anybody. We gotta have faith that our boys are going to have the game of their lives and come out of this one with a W.

Can people please stop praising the texas win? Texas is not good.

Unfortunately, our fans kind of suck so there won't be a huge crowd. I will be shocked if there's 35K there. It's pathetic really.

That type of crowd(if not a not bigger crowd) showed up for the last time ISU played Mizzou at home. That team was really god awful compared to this squad.

Any team that has twelve straight years of 10 wins or better is considered a very good program. It is a very good win since the perception of UT is strong, regardless of one season.
Texas is last in the South and will finish there. LAST! This season has everything to do with how good/bad they are this year. The last ten years has nothing to do with this year except perception. The Texas Tech win was a better win this year.
Don't be fooled by the emblem on the helmet.

Maybe CF tent people should collect all extra unused tickets at their pre show area and then rehand them out to people who walk up. At least it puts more butts in the concession line.

I just bought two tickets in section N, row 8. With those tickets still available I wouldn't be expecting too great a crowd.
Thats what we said this time of the week when we played NU. We wont be close to that number, but dont let the section lead you to believe there will not be fans there. This is part of the three game mini pack too.

+1.

How long have you been a Cyclone fan? ANY ISU win on the road in the Big XII is praiseworthy--even when it was "only" Baylor!

Sure, CPR is changing that perspective...but it's still a work in progress!
