For some reason at the beginning of the Tournament I put a small wager on SDST to win at 30 to 1 odds. I have nothing on the other side. I would hate to come away with nothing on this if UConn wins so I would like to place a bet(s) if that happens. Problem is UConn ML is -350 so not really a viable option. Hoping the other degenerates on here have some good ideas.

Don't hedge. Take your winnings, win 12 straight hands at the blackjack table and you got a million.

I went through the same thing. I have a bet on LSU I. The women’s bracket at 10-1 from a couple months ago.

Team +EV (effective value) would tell you not to hedge. If you could get a moneyline bet on sdsu right now at 30:1 would you take it? Absolutely. And you would let it ride. So why hedge now?

Team “I like money in my pocket and not sweating” would say hedge it and take what you can get.

My opinion: if you bet like $1 and you stand to win $30, don’t hedge. It will be fun to watch it play out. If you bet $100 and stand to win $3k. I would have hedged yesterday.

Alternate method: wait for sdsu to come out on fire and go up like 13-5 to start the game and live bet UConn using a hedging calculator like what is posted above.

I thought about it before the games yesterday and now kicking myself. With such long odds I thought it would be a shame to not get something out of the game. I think I'll have to hope for a live bet opportunity.

Take UCONN and give the points. They’re winning easy. Consider the bet you already made your hedge and go big on UCONN.

I’m on the other side I had UConn winning the national championship at +2200. I was thinking about hedging, but I really think UConn is going to win. It’s a lot easier to hedge in my situation as SDSU is +320.

not really sure what kind of options you have in your situation…

Or maybe just go money line uconn, that way you can’t lose it for some reason it’s less than 7.5. But that’s tricky too because UConn ml is -390.
