A group of 4 of us are traveling down to Manhattan, KS on Friday to spend the weekend. Anyone have suggestions for restaurants and bars to go to? We are in the 21-24 year old range.

Thanks Fanatics

So Long Saloon or Kites (in Aggieville) are both great burger/fry places (both bars, too). Kites has a Will Ferrel burger...huge...literally.

If you are looking for a bit better/different, CocoBolos is great...located on the edge of Aggieville...not tons of seating, but well worth it.

Aggieville is very laid back and nice and has some good places to eat and chill out. We spent a lot of time at Tubby's, Auntie Mae's, and Kite's this year for Farmageddon. Kite's has a lot of cool KSU memorabilia, and Tubby's had great wings.

How much will we get hassled if we are wearing Cyclone gear? During the day? and after we win?

Doubt you'll be hassled at all.

K-State fans are nice people. Pretty reserved (not quite the partiers ISU fans are), but up for a good time, and down to earth.

*Queue ISUfan22 talking about how KSU fans are scum because his only interaction with them is based off GOEMAW*

Why is Bramlage called the "Octagon of Doom"? I get it, it has 8 sides. But what makes it so unique in which they are the octagon of doom?

Quite a few arenas have 8 sides, including yours truly, James. H. Hilton Coliseum.

K-State 'fans' as a whole are ***-hats. Like on GOEMAW and some call in shows, etc. But any individual K-State 'fan' you meet is a decent guy, a lot like you, just from Kansas. :twitcy:

Must be a takeoff of legion of Doom comic.
