Hawk fans gonna turn on Stanley

It's already happening. Word is out Stanley has looked like crap in practice recently and the hawk media is rumbling about the backup and I heard one fan talking **** about Stanley on the radio today. Mark it down, Stanley is going to struggle in one of the first 2 games and hawk fans are going to boo him. All we'll hear the week of the game is how they should put the backup in.

He'll have enough moments to keep them from going full McCann boos, but there will be grumbles if the losses start piling up.

I dont know. I was listening to Hawk Central on KXNO today and apparently the Big X network was at practice recently. Apparently not only did they think Stanley looked bad, but they made it sound like they were pretty underwhelmed overall with what they saw of the football team. Hawk fans may be in for a rude awakening.

Who knows? Maybe. One thing about the practice from Tuesday. The Hawks were without a starting corner, a starting safety, a starting wide receiver, and two starting guards. The crew from BTN said that very thing, but were really impressed with the Iowa defense. The Iowa offense also had to go up against one of the, if not the best defense they will see all year. The practice was a simple snapshot which may or may not reflect what we will see in a week and a half.

Does that insulate Stanley against boos if he throws three picks against Miami? Absolutely not. It is what it is.

Stanley sucked and the defense was without a starting corner and safety? Yikes!
