Have you ever walked out of a movie?

I heard this conversation this morning on the radio. The only movie I ever paid for and walked on was "Gods and Generals." And it had one of my all-time favorite actors -- Robert Duvall. I should've walked from "The walking Dead" -- a Vietnam war movie that was terrible. One other person in the theater -- she walked halfway through.
 
Once, "Kung Fu Hustle"
About 30 minutes in, there was an older woman wandering about the theater for about 5 minutes. So I got up and asked her if she needed any assistance. She said she was trying to figure out how to get out. So I showed her out. I then decided there was really no reason to go back in and left. I have since tried to watch it on cable and I just can't do it.
 
Many years ago I was with a couple friends and we walked out of Three Amigos. I love dumb humor as much as the next guy but that movie was dumber than dumb. We had a friend who worked at the theater and he let us into Star Trek IV instead.

I don't watch a lot of movies but I feel asleep during the only Harry Potter movie I went to.

My dad walked out of Avenue Q play in Las Vegas one time. That was kind of embarrassing.

Wait, what? You walked out on the Three Amigos?! Are you serious? That is an all time great movie. The 3 just reunited on SNL just a few months ago and it made news. Wow...
 
I don't go to many movies in the theater, but even if I didn't like it I'd still sit there and eat my popcorn I think. I only would go to movies I'm pretty sure that even if I don't love it I at least wouldn't hate it enough to walk out.
 
Only once: for "Wild at Heart" with Nicholas Cage and Laura Dern. I lasted about 20 minutes and couldn't take it anymore. Don't even remember how I got talked into going to that one in the first place.

I'm usually pretty picky when it comes to going to see a movie in the theater. If I am not super eager to see it immediately when it comes out, I'm probably not going to bother. This (going to the theater) happens maybe twice a year. To me, most films just aren't worth paying that much money to sit with a bunch of strangers who don't understand the concept of "you're not in your living room - STFU!!"
 
If I pay for a movie I watch the damn thing. Ive seen some awful movies, but I refuse to walk out.
 
Don't remember walking out of a theater, but I did return a VHS tape and request my rental money back. I recall liking the main actors...the blurb on the box sounded interesting...but apparently I didn't read it carefully enough. About five minutes in, I rewound it & put it back in the case. I'm not a prude, but if I wanted porn, I would have visited the back room for the XXX tapes.

Obviously it was years ago...I don't even remember the name of the movie or the stars.

Same here. The closest I came to walking out was Battlefield Earth, but I decided to take nap instead.
 
I almost walked out of Freddy Got Fingered. I thought Tom Green was kind of funny at the time and there were some funny moments in the movie but overall it was terrible.

There were only 4 or 5 people in the theater.

Hey for the most part, its a dark room with no one bothering you to do something. Its a cheap vacation.
 
The only time I've walked out on a movie was not by choice. My wife made us walk out of Contagion because she legitimately thought that the white trash mom who brought her little kids to the movie and then proceeded to talk loudly through the whole thing was going to try to fight her in theater after my wife shushed her.

Otherwise, if I was able to sit all the way through Crossroads in high school, I can sit all the way through anything.
 
I'll usually sit through just about anything, but I nearly walked out of Bad Grandpa. Not because I thought it was offensive, because it was horrible. I was expecting ******* type humor and it wasn't that at all. I wouldn't recommend it.

You walked out of "Gods and Generals"? Seriously? I thought that was a good a movie. For me, I walked out of "Joe Versus the Volcano". I thought that was the stupidest movie I've ever seen.
