I don't see what the big deal is. They won the Superbowl. The President wants to conratulate them. To me this is like saying "I don't the want the ring. If you want to give me a ring, give me one when we don't win the Superbowl."

Yeah the President doesn't have better things to do than invite random sports teams over.
