Uh oh. This is what shows up when i turn my computer on. Any suggestions? It's a Dell Inspiron One 2305 (All in one) if that matters. Of course despite my reminders I'm sure no one has backed anything up. Need to know if its recoverable at least enough to get the pics off it and if that's not a DIY type job any recommendations on places to get that done. It's almost four years old so I don't really want to put a ton of money in it.

On another note any one have recommendations for cloud based back up or storage (or software) specifically that can be automated to do it without anyone having to do it.

Ill hang up and listen.

Others are probably more technical, but I can take a stab at giving you some advice.

Looking this error, unfortunately it tells me that your hard drive did in fact die. The computer is trying to boot up, going through its boot sequence and can't find a bootable device.

One quick check would be to open up the BIOS and just confirm that your hard drive is #1 in the boot sequence. That shouldn't have changed but something to just quickly check.

If you're tech savvy enough to open the computer up, you can try to remove the hard drive.
I have one of these on hand: http://www.amazon.com/Drive-Adapter-Converter-Optical-External/dp/B002OV1VJW
This would allow you to hook the hard drive up to another computer via USB to and try to get your files off of it.

No advice for you, but if I remember correctly, right around 4 years in age is a spike in hard drive failure. My last computer's hard drive failed around 3.5 years old. Once you hit the 3-year-old marker you should start backing things up more frequently and consider a replacement at 4 years old even if it hasn't failed yet.

The biggest issue is your computer is upside down. It will work better in a standard orientation.
