"The one constant, through all the years, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt, and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds us of all that once was good and that could be again. Oh...people will come Ray. People will most definitely come.”

Clean slate for (almost) everyone! Can't wait!

I'm thinking the Cubs get 75 wins this year and are last place in the Central.

I've been so consumed with Clone hoops this winter that I haven't paid any attention to offseason baseball, so I don't have any idea of what to expect from the Cards this year.

You remember the opening scene in Major Leauge? Well that was my reaction looking of the Spring Roster for the Cubs.

Jealous of you guys. You still get sports. The only time I'll ever consider watching baseball is if it happens to get to a game 7 in the world series.

Basically you're going to make the playoffs and somehow go a lot further than you should. There, now you're caught up.
