Nowhere and Everywhere
I've got some projects I need to get done this year and have zero interest in doing them myself. Main projects are a new deck and building a shed in backyard. Also some random things around the house. Does anyone have any recommendations of someone in the Ames or even Ankeny area for this.

Price isn't main deciding factor but it will be a factor to my wife. I'm much more concerned about quality and that is part of the reason I'm not doing it as well as it takes me 20 times longer than it should on these types of projects.

Thanks

There is a guy in town who has a business called Ted of all Trades who seems to do that sort of thing. Only heard about him because he helped a neighbor move snow--checked out is website after that.

You might check Deck & Drive Solutions. They did our deck, and did a great job on it.

There is a place on 2nd Ave in Des Moines just north of North HS that has sheds already built, ready to go. Seemed like their prices were reasonable too.

I have looked at plenty of pre built sheds in the last 3 months.

My main issues are that where I want to build it will be hard to bring in a pre built. I also want it to have the same siding and shingles as the house instead of some random looking shed.

There are some pre built places that will do matching but I just wanted to see what an on site build would be first.
