So, did Kurt Warner secure his place in the NFL Hall of Fame with today's performance? I think he did a great job. While he may not have secured his place, he certainly improved his odds!

How could he not? He owns the top 3 best passing games (as far as yardage) in SB history. He absolutely belongs there.

Not to mention, being the leader/catalyst that got his teams to the title. It's not like he was just a "bus driving" quarterback (Dilfer, Johnson). He was one of the biggest reasons his teams succeeded.

He's not the best QB in NFL history, but he's certainly one of the better ones and should be one of the most respected not only for his on-field actions - but off-field as well.

Personally, I hope to see him in Arizona again this coming fall.

On the flipside, does Ben belong there?

Tonight:30 Att 21 Comp 256 yards 1TD 1INT 93.2 Rating

Last SB:21 Att 9 Comp 123 yards 2 Int. 22.6 Rating

He has 2 SB wins, but those stats are not great at all.

Big Ben has a long career to solidify whether he should or should not be in the HoF.

If he never does another thing, no way. If he stays in Pitt. and wins another title or two, he definitely would get some consideration. He did impress me with some of his passes tonight. He would get in because of his status with the Steelers though if he ever did.

Are you high? You're saying he needs a total of 3 or 4 super bowls. Dude lay off the pipe. Looks at the mans win %..... he's in.

Not if he doesn't do another thing. They won the 1st Super Bowl despite him.

EDIT: I had closed the thread but figured I had better check who your favorite NFL team was... :) .

He is in. Yes he did lose the 2 SBs but he also had great numbers in both. Both also went down to the wire.

Not being a jerk, but what do you think gets people into the HoF then?

He's been in the league for what, 10 years? Out of which, he's had three really great seasons, and seven really mediocre seasons. HOF qualifiers should have more consistency. Again, my opinion here.

Understandable, but at the same time, how many QBs have lead two teams and made three appearances to the Super Bowl?
