Half Time Show and New Video Board

I think it would be great if Pollard would add a rock band half time show for and upcoming football game.

I would like to see what the video board and new sound system could do with a professional band.

You could add it to the UNI game and try to set a stadium attendance record,

or add it to the Iowa game so the Hawk fans can go home even more envious,

or add it to the Texas game to put us on more of a national spot light.

FYI, I am poor and would not be able to cut the check to pay for it.

Any suggestions for Bands? Barry Manilow? Kiss?

I thought it was a good idea to spice it up for marketing of the new score board to the public.

There is no where near enough time at halftime to set up a stage and have a concert. I've never seen that done at a regular season game. It's more something that happens at Bowl and national Championship games, where they extend the halftime.

Just so you know, my next comment comes from someone who used to go to the football games early to get a good seat to watch the band. I think the band is slippin a little. They just don't seem to have the same energy they used to. They just don't seem to be as entertaining as they used to be. Just sayin'.

Their song choice sucks. They should play the Bells of Iowa State and all the classical bull **** towards the west side of the stands. Then flip it around and blast some songs they play on the radio to the student section on the east side of the stands.
