He does fine at announcing. I just don't get why the media always mentions him as a possible coach for successful NFL teams and big college programs. Small and/or crappy programs might work, because he would add spectacle, but from a coaching standpoint, he's just not that good.

i don't know about that. maybe not anymore, but the guy was a coach in the NFL for a long time. won at least one super bowl too.

i think he just doesn't come off as being very smart. intentionally. likes being witty/sarcastic
