Grassley must be an Iowa fan

Wow swing and a miss. Grassley and Harkin both went to bat for ISU last time there was conference uncertainty by threatening non-profit status and sending a letter to Big 10 president. Plus he's frequently in attendance at ISU games and working to get us research grants.
Please re-read that.... This UNI ALUM??? I think UNI fan represents him more, then ISU fan.
He's been at numerous ISU events this year, and UNI. Not sure he made anything in Iowa City.

I suggest people email him and respectfully point out that Iowa State is not a little sister to UNI. At the very least we are an equal 'sister' to UNI. I am pretty sure Iowa State was a university before UNI was.
And people thought that fool was going to save us from the conference trouble. He is a vile, senile man.
Just when I think I am being paranoid about this whole BOR thing and the politicians in this state, Grassley goes and does this.

This isn't about sports. He made some tweets about UNI outplaying Iowa State. No one is commenting on those.
This is comparing the institutions and he is the senator for the entire state. It's crap and it annoys me that people are excusing this.

I actually met him in his office in DC this summer and someone in the group asked him if he was an ISU or Iowa fan. His response "UNI".

Again, this isn't about him being a fan of UNI. He has plenty of sports tweets. This is about the university as a whole at a time when we are changing leadership. The 'little sister' part is a dig that should concern us about someone who you all think has our back when it comes to the conference crap. He wasn't saying little sister in regards to the sports programs. He was saying little sister in regards to the university.
