Total guess but I think they'll be closed at this point. Depends a lot on how much rain they get today and tonight.
Thanks was in haunted forest for the iowa game was wondering how it was drying out before this new rain today
I watched the weather last night and after today, it sounded like there are chances of rain are there but should hopefully miss us.

We had a shower here in north Ames this morning, but with the clouds and humidity, nothing is going to dry out. Going to be fun parking if the grass lots are closed.
I can't see any way the grass lots will be open on Saturday. As far as the haunted forest goes, that lot has no ground cover so it doesn't take much moisture for it to be a mess. Best case scenario would be that G7 is usable, which opens up Vet Med for general public parking.
has anyone driven by the haunted forest today? i normally bring my motorhome down friday night for the game because i live up in the waterloo ia area but i am just wondering if i even bother this week and just drive down to the game in my car

Man, these last 2 years have been a game day train wreck.
All the more reason that regardless of if the big plan happens the new paved parking where some of the grass lots are needs to happen.
Show up early, get drunk, get naked, and slide down the muddy grass hills. Fantastic!! Who is with me?!???

So last year one of the games this happened we parked on campus and walked to Welch to tailgate before the game but that was for either a 2:30 or 6pm kick I think. Any bars in campustown open in the AM on Saturdays?
