Good luck this season!

I haven't been on CF in a couple months and I don't keep up with ISU basketball during the off-season as much as I should. How good are you expecting to be this year? I see most pre-season publications have the Cyclones between 10-15, seems about right to me. Will be interesting to see how much the players from last season have improved along with the kid from UNLV. It will be tough to replace Ejim and Kane, but I'll be cheering for the Clones all season (especially since UNI and ISU don't play this year, I won't get into my thoughts on the Big 4 Classic again). I would love nothing more than to see you guys crush Iowa, beat KU and win the Big 12, and make a deep tournament run (along with UNI).

Great post and right back at you. I've always thought uni fans have been a pretty classy group of people. Too bad our little brothers at EIU don't have the same class as fans at the other two state universities. Oh well every family has its black sheep I guess and EIU just happens to be that sheep in the Iowa family. Beat Wichita state this year so there's no undefeated teams come tourney time.
 
UNI should have a fine team. The best since their last tournament berth. WSU better not slide back too far, as UNI should close the gap some this year. Depending on how strong of showing the Valley has in the nonconference, should be good enough for an at-large.

Just beat Iowa for us. And if we are as good as most are hoping, you might be thankful you don't have to play us this year. The Big 4 classic is the first game McKay is eligible, and we will have all of our weapons for the first time.

While it may take some time to gel with adding in another stud, it also may be his coming out party. Better he does that against Drake than you.
 
I always hated playing UNI, they play so slow and dictate the pace of the game. But I respect the HELL out of Jacobsen and what he's doing.
Hope to see UNI in the tourney!

Thanks for the kind words. I hope you guys dominate iowa beat Creighton and wsu and win the mvc. Btw i expect us nothing less than sweet 16. Around 28 wins

No need to beat Creighton they aren't in the Missouri Valley anymore.
 
Good luck to UNI as well, I think last seasons ISU/UNI game got lost in the excitement of some of the great games later in the season but that was one of the most exciting Cyclone games I've got to see in person. Beat Iowa....and Wichita St!
