Time for some early morning golf! I'm planning on waking up early to watch on Friday because the weather looks like it potentially be nasty. +3 won the last Open Championship at Royal Birksdale with +7 coming in 2nd. Who do you got this weekend?

Golfers I like:

Koepka - Two majors in a row would be difficult, but I think he is highly focused on this tournament. Plus he loves links golf.
Fleetwood -- He's a local. His betting odds have shot way up
Poulter - Experienced guy who has been playing well. Finished 2nd at Royal Birksdale in '08.

Fleetwood is definitely in there because he controls his flight so well. I think this thing is setting up perfectly for Spieth as he's a very good wedge and iron player and I think that'll be the key. Sergio is also right up there. Had he not won at Augusta, he would be THE guy. If he's over the euphoric part of that win, I could see him winning this one easily because there isn't a golf course in the world that sets up better for his game. I also think Kuchar plays a type of golf that could get it done. Very boring, but also very even keeled. I'm really not feeling DJ (hasn't been that great lately) Rory (a mess) or Rahm (I'm biased and just don't like him). Ricky has a game suited for every major so I'm sure he'll be around and my dark horse would be Harrington as he looks like he's getting back into form and he's won here before because this course suits him very well.

I'm going to put in a fanduel lineup with all your guys. I'll let you know if it does well. I've been debating Sergio all week. He's getting married next week and I'm concerned about focus. Harrington...have you seen his new swing? http://www.golfchannel.com/video/shackelford-harringtons-swing-unorthodox-works/

To be fair, he's always been an awful ball striker so that doesn't really bother me. It can't really get much worse and he was one bad day away from winning last week.

I always forget about Fisher. He'll probably lead tomorrow morning.

I don't know what to make of Pieters or Fitz yet. TP feels like Koepka a couple years ago and Fitz seems to be lacking something. Feels a little Hunter Mahanie to me.

I do think this is Westwood's last chance. Course fits him, conditions should fit him. I just think that at the end of the day, he's a really successful EuroTour guy, like Monte, who didn't have the big game in him. I love him, but he can't close and it has always been on him, no one else.

Got up early enough to see a bit of golf this morning. Speith has had a nice start. The weather appears to be a non factor at this time.

Koepka holes out from a bunker for eagle on the 17th hole. He and Spieth are tied at -5. Two shots ahead of Poulter.

It's weird watching Mickelson play a round without Bones.

It's not looking good. Sergio and Fleetwood need to make the cut or it's toast. I have 3 Spieth/Koepka/Poulter lineups that ******* Fleetwood is sinking.

Well, I posted that when everyone was in way better shape.

Oh, you don't get to drop any scores? That's dumb. Also dumb that the Poulter pick is actually working out. Schauffele was also stupid for me not to pick.

It'll be tough tomorrow so hopefully Sergio and Fleetwood can make a little move to get to the weekend.
