Golf Memberships

This unseasonably warm weather coupled with Miller and Brinson got me looking into some kind of golf membership or pass for this coming year. I was looking into Waveland since I live in the area and they are charging $1000 for an unlimited pass. Urbandale CC has $500 joining fee and about $140 for a "Young Professional" membership, which also includes a significant other (I was surprised to see that). Anybody know what kind of rate Echo Valley or any other clubs have for an under 35 membership? Anybody a member at Urbandale CC? Waveland?

Don't know where you live, but if it's on the North side, check out Hyperion. Great facilities and they have accomodating memberships. Glen Oaks if you're West. I hate that course though.

Those prices 2011 or 2012? Most courses are just setting 2012 fees now (we set ours last week, but statements will be another 3-4 weeks).
