GO CUBS GO

Zambrano's line today: 8 inn, 5 hits, 2 runs, 9 K's, 3 BB
Woody gets the save in dominating fashion
Fokudome marks his arrival to Wrigley with the game-winning RBI
Cubs win 3-2!

Ever notice the similarities between cardinals and hawks.

- both birds.
- both stick their beaks where they don't belong.
- equally obnoxious and irrelevant.
- and lately, both seem to show up all too often in the police blotter.

Although on that last one, I have to give the nod to iowa. At least their coaches stay out of the police blotter.

I think that a lot of hawk fans are Cubs fans...moreso that Cards. Maybe it is because they are closer to Chicago. If you are an ISU fan and a Cubs fan, I feel sorry for you.

Then again, sports are pretty much dead to me after the NFL draft until preseason FB starts in August.

No, there's a difference, the Cardinals actually win championships.

Which has a better chance of happening?

Tony LaRussa getting his ABCs right

or

The Cubs winning the World Series.

Cardinal fans better enjoy the trash talking in the spring because about 10 games in, they will be in the cellar so enjoy yourself for at least another 2 weeks.

I would wholeheartedly disagree. I'm a Cubs fan, and I'm from South Dakota. The national spectrum of Cubs fans has more to do with their television deal on WGN, so they are broadcast nationally.

It's really annoying how every tool that's not a Cubs fan has to give his or her two cents.

They must be jealous of the large Iowa/national fan base because they certainly aren't jealous of the Cubs success.
