<P>You are selling it short if you think those are the only two kids playing, there is a ton of talent in the super division of this tourney.&nbsp;&nbsp; Team Iowa (Stokes)was flat against an always aggressive Cornhusker Shooting Stars team and lost by 20+ and All Iowa Attack (Greenfield) beat a good Oklahoma Shooting Stars team by 18 last night.&nbsp; Didn't see the second Team Iowa game, it was the nightcap.</P>

Just curious.......where are they playing the games?

14u-17u: 6 courts -- 2 at West Towne (AIA HQ), 2 at the ISU BB practice facility, and 2 at Ames Middle School.

9u-13u: 3 courts -- 2 at Gilbert HS and 1 at Gilbert MS

All Iowa Attack Hosted Tournaments | All Iowa Attack

See the 9u-13u and 14u-17u schedule links for more details. They are excel spreadsheets (note that each spreadsheet has multiple sheets -- I missed that at first).

Kansas State message board moderator catfan28 had a nice report.

"Couple of great games last night in Ames, and they had the attention of a lot of coaches. Georgia and Notre Dame heads, along with the usual Big 12/Big 10.
Early game had CSS winning over Missouri Valley Blazers 92-87. All Iowa Attack got by the Eclipse 72-64, close game the whole way and AIA made the free throws down the stretch to win it. #4 (Kyndal Clark, 5'8" guard/wing) and #1 Shadelyn Stewart (6'0" larger body but could still move) #4 played great defense and went to the basket hard, made a couple of 3's. #1 was a load for AIA in the first half because she can handle the ball well for her size and was too physical for the smaller guards to handle going to the basket. She did not play in the second half, don't know whether it was conditioning or dicipline, but she was not injured and did not have foul trouble. Coach Patterson did not watch this one, she was on a different floor watching Team Iowa vs KC Blue Streak, Team Iowa winning a close one."

KSU board is following the Ames tournament too, and today they posted a link to professional photos. Here's a link to a photo of Emily Cady and Taylor Greenfield. I saw a couple of shots of BF who was watching this game near the CSS bench.

Big Nike Showcase in suburban Chicago this weekend. I happen to be staying in the hotel which is the showcase HQ. Have seen Jack, Jodi and LaToja. Good hunting.

Does anyone know who won the tournament and any of the other scores? Of course the local news didn't cover it. It would have been nice if they had at least posted the scores.

Per Kevin Anderson's blog the Iowa Attack 14U team features two good young post players in Brittany Holdsworth (6-1 Carroll) and Shia Kellogg (6-1 Ames) Two maybe's for the class of 2013.
