I do love the idea of not asking your highly-coveted football coach his opinion on moving to the SEC.
It'd be nice to get hundreds/thousands of people to send something like that, but it would have to be more like a $5 thing. Sort of a "denial of service" repeated embarassment thing.
I find it almost impossible to believe they didn't talk to him about it before it happened. But even then, if you as an athletic director truly think the SEC is in your best long-term interests, you still make the move even if your coach doesn't like it. Coaching is a notoriously transient business and you don't that tail wag the dog.
