Both Georges and Naz were at the ISU bookstore last week buying ISU gear. Grad school daughter recognized them and got a picture with them. She said the line-up that then formed was big. Still two of the best ambassadors for ISU.

I've often thought about how great it would to be a revered former athlete. Life got you down? Feeling a little in the dumps? Just make the haul over to Ames and have everyone spend the next few days treating you like royalty.
If there is anything I miss more than Big Georges in the stands it is Georges on the court.
I get a lot of this because of my Parks and Rec Little League 6th grade MVP award - it gets old after a while.
Hornacek, Grayer, maybe even Fizer.They played before the current students were born (at least the first two did...).
Yes, it is. But it's also nice to know that Big Georges didn't end up on a trash heap somewhere, and that Cyclone fans can still see him.
