It's a nice homecoming story, but not much beyond that. That's why not many people are talking about it. They'll sell some tickets and he'll ride off into the sunset. That's about it.
There's some potential value in it for the Wolves. Lot of early twenties/late teenage talent on the roster, and they might benefit learning from KG. He's been around for a long time. But yeah, other than that it's just a nice homecoming story that will sell a few tickets.
Nice story, but the thing is it's best for the Wolves to keep getting better but still lose games. I wonder how that'll sit with KG.

That's ridiculous. Anyone who knows anything about the NBA knows that Fred is bolting Ames after the season to coach the re-tooled Lakers featuring a fully healthy Kobe Bryant and Lebron after he shockingly opts out of his Cleveland deal after losing in the Eastern Conference Finals.
Every team has a player that will have a career night against us, our defense is terrible, Matt Thomas should transfer, the conference title was decided after two games, we miss Doc Sadler, we miss Kane and Ejim, this team just doesn't have "it", why isn't Edozie getting 20 minutes a game?
You forgot to mention that they may not even win a national championship this year.
You know it's been a disaster of a season when that's a possibility.
