So, Sox-Yanks is on TBS tomorrow.....have other local teams still been blacked out on this?

You're welcome to pitching Vazquez today. :skeptical:

With a lineup that had Vizquel at leadoff and Kotsay in right, as well as Linebrink in relief, we damn well tried to negate Javier's level of suck.

We had to deal with him for a couple of years so as far as I'm concerned we're even. He is the ultimate in frustrating pitchers, just like Nuke Laloosh, million dollar arm, 10 cent head. He has some of the best stuff on the planet, but he is terrible at using it effectively. I remember reading something about people who have had similar strikeout numbers to him, and all of them had a hell of a lot more wins and a lot lower ERA's than he did.

I'm still scratching my head trying to figure out what the hell Brian Cashman was thinking. He sucked his first stint in New York, wasn't good in Chicago, was great in Atlanta, and now you think he'll just be great in New York again? I'm dead serious when I say I can go out there and throw BP at 88 like he does (well, it's been 2 years, so 85-86 might be tops now).

The MLB blackout rules are completely ridiculous. Their MLB.tv program, which is great if you can actually watch the teams you want to watch, advertises that you can "watch all mlb games". Yet, at least for me, I am blacked out on MLB TV for the Cubs, White Sox, Brewers, Twins, Cardinals, and Royals. wtf? That basically accounts for half of the games on a given day.

I realize blackout rules exist so you have to watch the local broadcasts instead, but when you don't get the local broadcasts and they still blackout ESPN and TBS games, its pretty frustrating. And to top it off, you can't even buy the games on MLB TV.

In other words, I would like to pay the MLB money to watch certain games, but they will not let me give money to them.

Preaching to the choir.
