Just found out that instead of going to KC, I have to go to Chicago this weekend. Obviously not happy about this but I do have free time to catch most of the game. Are any Cyclone fans meeting anywhere to watch the game? I understand that Chicago is huge, but I will be able to travel anywhere in the area to watch. Let me know where you will be and I will try to meet up! Go Cyclones!

Iowa State Alumni Club of Chicago

the list on the right hand side gives you all the gamewatch locations throughout chicago. there are two in the city if you're staying in the city, one in old town and one in lakeview. corcoran's tends to be the bar with the largest group for every game and is definitely the nicer of the two bars/neighborhoods. don't know much about the suburban gamewatches but know there's a decent amount of people there usually. enjoy!

I've never been to Corcoran's or even heard of it before. I've been going to ISU game watches here for 9 years, how is that even possible? How many fans would you say were there for NIU? Fizz had about 50-60 fans and had the game on every tv but two small ones (pre-season Bears) and the sound on the game for the whole bar.
I had gone to the various Wrigleyville locations before Fizz. Old Town and Lakeview are both more convenient for where I live now than Wrigleyville though.

Don't want to disuade the original poster if Corcoran's is an incredible bar with all ISU TVs, 200 Cyclone fans and blaring sound, but I do know that is my least favorite neighborhood in the entire city to try to find parking. The area around Fizz has cheaper meters and you can find some free parking a block or two off the main roads. I wasn't at Fizz for the Iowa game because I went to the game in IC, but at the NIU game they brought out a few free pizzas for us too.

Myself, wife, and a friend will be at Fizz Saturday for the game. Leaving for chicago in about an hour from DSM.
