Be prepared to get torn to pieces around here. FWIW, I thought you were pretty fair (for the most part) on our team breakdown, but I thought you missed on quite a bit, too. Big 12 "doesn't like to tackle"?? The MYTH that Big 12 doesn't play defense is played out, lazy, and flat out wrong over the past couple seasons. I know bowl games aren't the end all-be all, but look at how we've matched up with top teams from other conferences. Fact of the matter is, Big 12 teams are typically a lot more explosive offensively than other conferences (see: Big 10), so of course there are going to be higher scores.
