Game Watch: Madison, WI

I might be game. I live out on the East side of town. I'd probably hit up Pooley's.

I imagine since the Badgers are not playing at the same time about any bar will have it on.

Wilson's is always a good place to watch a game. It's down on Atwood.

I haven't been feeling well lately, so if I'm out of quarantine by Monday, I could be game. East-sided (at the moment) as well.

i am eastside too. way out by the mall. have no idea where pooleys is but if you give me some directions/an address i am always down for a new joint. i mostly do downtown [being a young pup], but it would be nice to find a place closer to home. really guys, just pick a spot, and i will be there wearing the cardinal and gold at game time!

how long have you been in town? I'm east side too! All our other ISU friends are on the west side.

on and off since late august. finally got a "permanent" job, so i am here for good! i live next to hok fans... so finding a couple fellow clones to cheer on the boys would be nice for sure

Awesome. Pooley's is good few of us have done that place a few times. I know the west siders used to go to Babes. 2 kids in diapers here, or I'd prolly be at Babe's w/ the wife. Without the wife, I'd recommend pooleys Agreed though. Pooley's is more suited if you aren't as lame as I am. lol

very sorry to hear. Two good ISU friends made their way here too, so we have a little group of four, though we don't do much game-watching. Did you graduate last year? Where do you work?

I'll stop being creepy now!

try not to hang me, but i am not a grad... technically a golden eagle, but a die hard clone from birth. yeah, i graduated last spring. where i work might get me into trouble, so we will have to save that for an in person meeting ;-)

well as long as it's not promoting the hawks, you're probably ok ;) The husband and I won't be able to make Monday night, but we'll have to catch up with all ISU fans sometime! Plus I have two lovely single friends who are always asking for some nice guys to be set up with.....and ISU guys are obviously better than what the UW can offer, haha!

well thats too bad. there will be a couple games let this year worth watching ;-) holler if you are ever looking for someone to watch a game with.

i promise i would never promote the HOKS... couldnt pay me enough lol

Pooley's is just a few minutes from the East Towne Mall out on High Crossing Blvd. Pretty cool for a sports fan, lots of memorabilia to look at ALL over the place.

They have a few ISU things. Two helmets for sure. Haven't seen our latest design there yet.

just thought i would bump this up, in case folks missed our thread from late the other night. headed to pooleys to catch the game, if youre in the area you should stop by!

Good call on pooleys. Really like it there. Hopefully you can hear the game too. Sorry I can't make it out. Well past my curfew for a weekday. I am putting you in charge of the Pooley game watch association though. I'd prolly make a few games up there on the weekends with the kids. Keep us posted how it goes. Also, you may want to check out the Alumni Association page and put something on there as well if you haven't. The Alumni Association has done game watches there and at Babes as well.

I have returned to the Madison area from my four years at ISU and will be watching the game tonight. I'm on the west side if anyone has ideas for where to watch the game.
