Game Day Parking at Towers???

I have parked and tailgated at the Towers Resident Hall parking lot for years along with hundreds of other tailgaters. The last two home games their have been ISU parking patrol stopping people from parking at the towers lot with signs saying no game day parking violators will be towed. This is a huge parking lot with hundreds of open spots why can't we park there on game days anymore has anyone heard what the deal is? Why make it difficult for your fans to come?

I think those lots are technically permit required all hours, all days, but I've parked there many times including the last game and have never gotten a ticket so I guess I don't worry about it.
