Thanks to @cyclones500 for this one (as always!!). What common food have you never sampled? Is there a reason you haven’t tried it? Will you try it at this point, or are you so committed to not having had it that you don't want to?

Thai food.
Rocky mountain oysters (noway dude)
Had sushi for the first time about 2 years ago, good enough for me.

Two from my list already mentioned here.
* Lobster
* Rocky-Mountain oysters

Also:
* Regular ol' oysters/oyster stew. My mom LOVES oyster stew (or she did at one time)
* Similar to lobster — although I've eaten crab, I haven't had crab legs, whereby you employ a wire-cutting appendage-cracker device in which to pre-consume.

Others will come to mind eventually.

Hard boiled eggs. The smell and texture just did me in. Never had one growing up and don't plan to start. You can even throw deviled eggs in. They are all just plain nasty!!

I've never had sushi and figure why start now.
Lobster is just an expensive way to eat butter. Give me shrimp any day.

I don't like things from the sea. I have tried some fish and things, but by far, there is a lot that I haven't tried.

I can do crab though.

I can agree on deviled-eggs — wouldn't mind if it was actually on my never-ate list.

Hard-boiled eggs and egg-salad, however, I'll gladly accept your allotment.

Seems contradictory, I know. Something about deviled-eggs just never appealed to me.

Cake

I was fairly picky as a child and had no real desire to try it, and my parents didn't encourage it. Hell, they might have even told me I didn't like it when I was little and that stuck.

Lamb is delicious!

Only tried curry once and that was plenty for me. I've never had an energy drink, assuming coffee doesn't count.

Umm, Ramen, Siracha, I'll think of other things.

Never had lobster either. Would like to try it, but not wanting to spend $40 for something I might not like.

Shrimp to me are just spiders from the water. Not interested at all. Same with those crabs, they look like something from another planet. I've tried crab legs, shrimp, several kinds of fish and not really impressed by any of it.

I'll take anyone's eggs, boiled, fried, deviled. My grandmother raised laying hens and sold them for supplemental farm income. I was raised on them.

Also add tripe and head cheese to the list of "No, not ever." list.
