Fifteen years ago, all of my music lived in iTunes so I could sync it to my various iPods. I had Spotify early, but didn’t use it consistently. Ten years ago, I used a lot of Pandora until I got sick quickly of the algorithm. Now we are a Spotify Family household. There are other, more robust options, but it just integrates with everything from our home sound o the cars, etc - it is ubiquitous.

How do you listen to your music? YouTube, downloads, etc?

A couple months ago, I purchased YouTube premium so i wouldn’t get ads in the videos I watched. It came with a free subscription to YouTube Music. So nice been busing that.

Previously, I’d just listen to the radio.

I use Spotify the most. We're trying out the Sirius XM app, but I still default to Spotify.

This supplements my old mp3s.
I have a Sonos setup in the house for this:
Big vinyl guy. My collection is mostly 70s/80s rock:

So, Janny got me a killer turntable that is Bluetooth a couple of years ago, but I can’t make it compatible with our Sonos. Did you get their turntable or did you adapt one of your own?

I'm a Spotify guy. I have a few playlists, but mostly use a single, massive one that I've been cultivating for years. It has music from many genres, from many different eras. My wife is incredulous, because it's just one big amalgam, and that's just not how she listens to music, but I can say, with all honesty, that I like them all. I put it on shuffle and am pleasantly surprised by each new track that plays. And if I'm not in the mood for what comes up, I just try the next one.

My go to music platform current is Apple Music. I was on Spotify for over 10 years and switched when I wanted AppleTV+. There have only been a few artists that aren’t on the platform and they are just little indie bands with albums I bought at shows.
I was extremely worried Is have to curate all my playlists from scratch, but fortunately found an app that did it.
I have a reasonable amount of vinyl, both old and new that I listen to regularly (every couple of weeks). SiriusXM in the car. I still have crates of CDs and tapes that I can’t bring myself to part with.

I have a Sonos Port. My turntable is an Audio Technica that has red and white audio hookups (into the Port) but can also do bluetooth (which I used before Port).
Sonos likes wifi much more than bluetooth.

Mostly Apple Music. Still have all the old ripped cds on the local network, which occasionally listen to, but now that a lot of Apple Music is lossless, I've just been adding a lot of the old cds to it.

It's a Frankenstein monster of sources for me. Pandora, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, and thousands of ripped MP3s on my Google Drive.
