Follow me on this one - I am not sure it is going to make sense.

I had a woman stood next to me this week at a mixer. Very nice lady, we chatted about the weather and other random niceties.

From the outside, I realized as we got a few glances, we must have looked incredibly different. She was legitimately well over 7 foot; I am 5’2” in shoes. Her hair is stick straight, mine is super naturally curly.

It made me think of how people would boil me down to compare me to others, and what one- or two-word adjectives they’d use.

Physically - short, fair, curly haired
Personality - dry/sarcastic, independent, stubborn

If someone had to boil you down to five or six adjectives to describe you, what would they say? How would they compare you against someone else?

I'm sorry @Angie I didn't even read the whole post, still picking up my jaw from the fact that you saw a 7' tall woman! A quick online search and I read that a 7' woman occurs once in 2.4 million women

I first saw her talking to a pretty tall man in the lobby, and she just towered over him. I can’t imagine how hard it potentially is to do things day-to-day, and hope that it is easy for her.

A beautiful man. Warm and compassionate.
(Could also be how Sloan thanked Mr Rooney in Ferirs Bueller)

But for real I could probably be described as "a tall, wild card, neurotic planner."
I like to do research for vacations but once we arrive I have zero problems throwing it all out the window for something going on.

physical: Medium height, in great shape, bald, muscular
Personality: Kind, driven, motivated, strives for being the best I am capable of, likes to make people laugh.

A public mixer? Seems inefficient to take all your ingredients somewhere else to mix them up and then bring it all back home to bake. Did you have to share the mixer or did you each have your own?

We are so alike except the tall male thing.

“People stew” is the worst stew.

Wife gets double frustrated because of my planning and then detours.
Like, I could be planning for a month about a drive from Atlanta to Tampa and a schedule to stick to.
Then I'll see a boiled peanut stand on the side of the road and want to stop.

I'm probably a less naive Clark Griswoild TBH.

physically : meh, overweight (fell off the diet wagon a couple years ago and need to get back on),

Personality: anti-social, arrogant, ahole ( I truly have learned to hate people as I get older but can flip a switch and work a room if I think something positive will come of it)
