Friday OT #1 - May I Have This Dance

I have an acquaintance that was born about 2 hours after me in the same hospital. We arent super close. But that would probably be the winner for longest.

My son had a classmate (class of anywhere from 30-40 throughout school) whose birth was delayed about 10 minutes since my son was being born. They got along but weren't tight.

Celebrated our 25th anniversary last December, knew him for about a year & a half before that, so ~27 years with spouse.

In my first 28 years of life, I lived in six different states. That doesn't lend itself to long-term relationships, ya know? I reconnected with a former high school friend a few years back on FB, but we're casual friends, not really close.

I think the friendship I formed with our church choir director and her husband back in 1984 would have to be the longest consistent relationship I have ever had with someone...and they are still our closest friends today. We were planning an RV trip together to New England to see some new states after the other guy retires in June (we are all within 9 months of each other in age, and he's the "baby"), but those plans have gone on hold for a while. :(
