Former Cyclone Lester Williams passes away

I remember watching him play for CR Jefferson when I was a kid and then, of course, for the Cyclones. He was a badass linebacker. RIP.

Yep...he was as good of a football player as Cedar Rapids has ever produced! He just couldn't keep himself out of trouble and had more than a bit of a struggle in life. Played in the Criner era when certain players earned the right to wear a red helmet rather than the gold ones. Anyway...RIP Lester.
