That sucks. At his pinnacle he was one of the most elite of his generation and as a baseball fan I enjoyed watching him. The division series clincher between Chris Carpenter and him in '11 was one of the best big game pitching matchups I've ever seen...probably the best since Morris-Smoltz in '91.

I agree with you. People have to do what they love, even knowing the risks, but with the amount of small aircrafts that seem to go down every week I wouldn't ever get in one.
Gotta agree with that. I hate flying in the big, much safer airliners. No way I would ever consider stepping foot in that jalopy.
Toxicology report came back. Morphine, amphetamines & Ambien in his bloodstream. Not a good combination at all. Not sure how a Ambien is still legal with all the weird behavior you hear about when using it. http://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/22155471
