How can a team be so bad at forcing turnovers, or ever getting a turnover. Its not even a this year thing, it has been going on for 3 or 4 years now. At some point don't shouldn't you get a turnover by dumb luck?

Could have used one today...but a key in the TO battle is to not have the offense turn it over either.

Most turnovers happen from getting pressure on the qb and disrupting things in the backfield. This also leads to drive ending offensive holding calls which can probably be counted on one hand so far this year. Defensive line has to be a priority but is also the hardest thing for us to recruit. Until we do improve the defensive line the defense as a whole will struggle to get turnovers. IMHO.

This makes sense. Good post. The cyclone teams I remember the most for creating a lot of turnovers were '05 and '09 and those teams had solid D lines
