...this always cheers me up. Younger people have no idea what was lost when this place closed.

 
I was all in on hating this thread before opening it, but it's good.

I only got to experience the very last years of People's, but it's crappy the way it went out.

Lumpy's forever.
 
That is so sad to watch. Brings back so many great memories though.

Best years of my life.... drinking with all my college friends at People's and dancing to the Sundogs. I was flat broke and drove a rusted out beater car, but it was by FAR the best time of my life.

I met my wife there for the first time. We are now married for 13 years and have 3 kids. Now it is a beautiful CVS Pharmacy.
