I’m obviously not an ISU fan.

Go help your mom with dinner. I’m done with the circle jerk crew for tonight. When you grow up and can spend your own money on ISU stuff...feel free to prove your worth on this site beyond being the resident Hawk expert. Some is the worst photoshop skills I've ever seen!

Go State!
Whatever Hawkeye
definitely not a hok. Love what CMC is doing and hope we can keep him. But, we need to be fair with our expectations going into seasons. Campbell never said "this year we win 10 games" or asked for the national expectations. The o-line is still a work-in-process. We had two former walk-ons starting and 3 came from CPR's last class. I don't think it will come together next year (hope I am wrong), but if Purdy stays for his senior season that will be a special year. I would go 8-9 wins next year... we need to get the o-line some experience, not fair to say they will step in and be finished products.
Obviously we can lose every year to Iowa if we can compete for conference titles, as any one should feel. Not being able to stop K state and to an extent Texas bothers me infinitely more. Just wondering if we should start expecting to get dragged into slop fests with limited possessions playing catch up no matter what. I guess I have my answer. It's not much fun but it is what it is.Yes. You really do. Do you want to beat Iowa? Or do you want to have winning records in the conference?
Look I've been around the block with Iowa State football. I refuse to lose my **** about 7-5. I've already said it was a disappointing season.

all things considered I thought Brock threw the ball really well and I would have liked to see us make them do the same at all costs. I know in game thread most CFs were calling for stacked boxes. I do get that it's not our style that has brought us our success, and you generally should dance with who got you to the dance. But I think even with the wind we just laid an egg in the 2nd half, both sides of the ball, but a little more so defensively.. I agree we were more predictable than usual because crazy wind, but K State completed about 2 passes til late in the game and they were picking up 3rd downs on the ground with impunity. They were even more predictable and we had no answer IMHO. I know it sounds like I'm not appreciative of 7 win seasons. Trust me I am. And it's sustainable and I'm happy about that. Just hate getting papercut to death by a team daring you to stop them. How would this game have gone without 40 mph winds? I would have expected it to be better offensively to at least try and outscore them. The weather made us too predictable.
