#FireHoiberg is trending

They are going to eat him alive. But at least he's got money.

He'll be fine, he's a very good coach. Wonder if he regrets not taking golden state job though.

But since I have always and will always hate the Bulls, I'm enjoying the losses. They really blew it against Phoenix Monday night.

Lofty expectations. Bulls finished 1st 1st 5th 4th 3rd the last few years in the east

Can't close out close games, like I said in the other thread.

Several Bulls fans I know and GarPax the reason I can't stand Bulls.

He should have gone for Timberwolves if he had to go.

He's getting paid big money to take the heat. 5 million/yr I could take a lot of crap on social media for that kind of money.

#Firehoiberg has been tweet only 27 times in the past 24 hours....define "trending" ????

So if you're just wanting to point out that Hoiberg/Bulls are struggling just say that.

There has to be some kind of learning curve he's dealing with. When he first came to ISU, Lutz seemed to be the one running the team during a lot of timeouts. He's a quick learner though and will probably get things rolling eventually. Problem is, it's not ISU, so the support won't last forever.

This is the same fanbase/ownership that ran out/fired a guy, who in my opinion, did more with less in Tom Thibodeau. The same organization that let the greatest coach of all time (Phil Jackson) and the greatest player of all time (Michael Jordan) go. Jordan would have played many more years for the Bulls if they didn't run Jackson away. I knew when Hoiberg wanted to go to the Bulls that he was making a huge mistake. That's fine that he wanted to go to the NBA, but he should have waited for a different job. He will be gone from that organization within 4 years. Not because of him per say, but because the people in charge there have their own ego's they don't check at the door. What do the fans seem to expect with that roster? It's got a point guard who is no where near a top guy anymore. A center(Noah) that is past his prime and was strictly a defensive guy to begin with. An old forward who has dropped in skill significantly in the last year (Gasol). For gods sake they have Tony freaking Snell as a starter. Jimmy Butler is the only great player they have. The rest are a bunch of past their prime guys, role players, or never was/will be guys. They shouldn't expect to be at the top of the standings.

They never ate Tim Floyd alive

He was excellent with the Chicago media--they loved him and gave his a pass despite an abysmal tenure with the Bulls

The over/under on number of games he coaches the Bulls before he is fired or resigns is 239. I would take the over, but just barely.

For those wondering, that is the number of games Floyd coached the Bulls.

Fred will end up smelling like roses he always does. When he's done with the rat race he can retire at the cabin up north and assess that he done about the best he could do which isn't too shabby so far...

Hoiberg should of waited for the Timberwolves job.

100x less pressure, 100x less scrutiny then Bulls job

He could of learned on the job. A long leash (like Paul Rhoads here)

3 hours from Ames. He has a home up in N. Minnesota. No brainer. transition back to the front office

Retire from the NBA and spend his older years as AD for ISU

He has a very deep, talented roster. They were 11-5 with a chance to pass the Cavs for the best record in the East and they responded with back to back home losses to the Hornets and Suns, then another loss tonight.

He said in an interview to start the year the word he would want people to use to describe his team would be 'tough', then the first thing he did was bench team leader and 2014 NBA Defensive Player of the Year Joakim Noah for Nikola Mirotic.

It's early, but his team is being questioned for the same thing his teams at ISU were questioned for...not bringing the effort on a consistent basis.
