Do you like this running front page blog that I've been updating over the weekend?

I am trying to decide how to attack the next week coverage wise here at CF. That format makes it easiest for me to update things quickly. Obviously, I've been posting on the forums too.

Any ideas? Let me know.

I really like the running blog on the front page, and then I get more of the details and rumors in teh forums

I like the running blog. It makes it easier to see how things are progressing since everything seems to be running at lightning quick speed and changing hourly!

This is just a thought, since I seem to go straight to the forums.
But, maybe start a news feed/link thread and then continue to update/edit your initial post so that the updates are in the forum, and you don't have to skim around trying to find links and updates, unstead keep all updates on the very first post of that thread.??..??
That way, you can just click on the thread and everything is right there. Kind of like football signing day, when you just continue to update the recruits signing on the first post of the thread.
Or, maybe its easier to update on the front page. I don't know, I'm just throwing out ideas that might be easier for people...

I have been checking it hourly, Chris you have done better than any other member of the media surrounding ISU athletics, thank you!

I like the one continuous updated blog on the front page, as opposed to a new article each time, or just the threads which can get lost in the shuffle. It's especially helpful when you update the title of the blog with the latest update, so I know it's got a new entry without having to open it each time.

Works great. Keep up the GREAT work. Now, Keep the Big 12 going and make sure the $17M TV deal is alive and well.
Thanks for all the hard work CMW.

You are doing a great job, Chris. Thanks! Like most I go directly to the message boards, when I visit CF. But I have gone to your blog to find links that I was aware of but otherwise not sure where to go back to in the forums to find.

Edit: I would add, the most important links, not every link. I also appreciate your comments there. I have been on CF a lot over the last few days, much more than usual. So I know what is going on. Had I not, the blog provides an excellent history of what has transpired.

Works great for your spot ups! Keep it going.

I hate that thing. First someone is going somewhere, then they aren't, then they are staying, then they are going somewhere else. Can't you just put what is actually going to happen on there.........jeesh.

I didn't know the home page blog was there until this post. I do like it now that I've seen it. Then I can go to the forums for comments and more feedback.
You're doing great Chris, thanks for your hard work on this.

I agree. The blog would be much better if the next entry said the Big XII was staying together and everyone was getting $20 million a year and free passes to Adventureland.

Yaman- is that Balki or Manu Ginobli?
